At the end of March, I met up with Heather and Pat for their engagement session in Gatineau Park. Even though spring was technically around the corner (though almost two months later, it has finally arrived!), the trails were still covered in fresh snow, giving us the perfect winter backdrop they had hoped for.
Their wedding this November is going to be such a meaningful celebration surrounded by close friends and family. With a large wedding party, lots of children and family connections woven throughout the day, it already feels like it will be full of energy, warmth, and emotion. Exactly the kind of wedding I love documenting.

If you’re planning a winter engagement session in Ottawa or Gatineau Park, late March can still offer beautiful snowy scenery and soft golden light.
