Winter Wedding in Downtown Ottawa

Winter Wedding in Downdtown Ottawa at the NAC by Ottawa Wedding Photographer Sara

Baby Elowyn’s parents are married!

This post is a little sneak preview from Matthew and Kim’s wedding yesterday. Below is (I think) the passage read by the pastor during the ceremony. In the brief time that I’ve had to get to know them since we met earlier in the year, I can confirm that these two have laid a solid foundation for their marriage. I feel blessed to have witnessed their commitment surrounded by family and friends on this especially cold winter day in Ottawa.

‘Why do you call me, “Lord, Lord,” and do not do what I say? As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When the flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.
