SPRING PORTRAIT SESSIONS
In the style of Richard AVEDON.
Every Friday and Sunday throughout May and June Capture an authentic, dramatic, and timeless portrait at my Kanata outdoor studio.

The Experience
Step into a personalized portrait photography session designed to capture the raw personality of the subject. Inspired by the minimalist, powerful style of Richard Avedon, these sessions focus on high-contrast, black-and-white-centric imagery that stands the test of time.
Whether you come solo, as a couple, or with your family, we will work together to create a gallery of “authentic” moments — no stiff poses, just you.

Preparing For Your Portrait Photography Session
The Outfit
Dress how you feel comfortable. This is your chance to be as elaborate or as “chill” as you like! Feel free to wear:
- A tuxedo or a wedding dress (wear it again!)
- Your favourite cardigan
- A hockey uniform or a beekeeper suit
- Your favourite worn-in denim jacket or a simple black turtleneck
The Prop
Please bring at least one prop that says something about who you are. Think of things connected to your passions:
- An apron and tongs for the BBQ enthusiast.
- A camera, a musical instrument, or a football.
- Even a snow shovel if you’re a true lover of Canadian winters!

Location
The Outdoor Studio — Kanata, Ontario The session takes place in a controlled outdoor environment to harness natural light. In the event of rain, we will move into the indoor studio space on-site.

Preparing for Your Session
- Outfit: Dress how you feel comfortable; you can make this as elaborate or chill as you like! Feel free to dress in a tuxedo, a beekeeper suit, a hockey uniform, or even your wedding dress again! The only thing I would avoid is heavy patterns. Solid colours would work best for these photos.
- Prop: Bring at least one ‘prop’. This could be anything that you feel says something about you and might be connected to your outfit (e.g., an apron and tongs if you love barbecuing, a camera if you love photography, a football, or even a snow shovel if you love winter!).
Ready to Book?
