I recently had the pleasure of photographing Andria and Cody’s engagement shoot in one of their go-to hiking / dog-walking spots, the South March Highlands Conservation Forest in Kanata. It was a beautiful spot for photos with a few open clearings, tall trees, and boardwalk pathways. And if you’re an outdoorsy person like Andria and Cody, this conservation forest is highly recommended by many as it has oodles of trails for hiking and mountain biking.
It was lovely to have the opportunity to get to know these two a little more and meet their gorgeous dogs. I’m really excited about their fairy tale outdoor forest wedding next year. I don’t want to spill the beans here with all the details, but it’s going to be amazing!
Incorporating Andria and Cody’s dogs into the photo shoot was a fun and rewarding challenge. I was able to use my scooby doo impersonation to get their eyes on the camera a couple of times, but they mostly did what they wanted 🙂
It was a lovely Sunday stroll together on an unusually chilly day in early September. As we came to the end of the engagement shoot, the clouds lifted a little to reveal a pretty sunset. A pleasant ending to a relaxed shoot. It was an honor to capture these special moments for Andria and Cody. Their love story is a testament to the beauty of nature and the joy of shared adventures. I can’t wait to see their wedding day unfold and to continue capturing their journey together.
