“Let us love deeply, let us love patiently, let us love as the trees stand in faith, rooted in the unseen, yet reaching for the light.” – John O’Donohue
I recently documented an absolutely beautiful wedding at First Baptist Church Ottawa. The ceremony was classically elegant, with a lush green floral theme that perfectly complemented the timeless setting. The abundance of children in attendance brought a joyful energy to the day, making it all the more special.
After the ceremony, we made our way to the University of Ottawa’s Social Sciences Building, where the living wall (an amazing 6-story high wall of plants!) provided a stunning blend of nature and modern architecture for group portraits. From there, we continued to Walter Baker Park for some intimate couple portraits, capturing quiet moments amid the snowy landscape.
It was an unseasonably warm March day, yet the snow still lingered, creating a striking contrast. I’m so glad we were able to incorporate greenery into Emily and Connor’s wedding photography — just as they had envisioned.
