A Spring Celebration in the Heart of Ottawa
Steph and Cody’s wedding day was all about fresh florals, bright colours, and laid-back joy.
Set in downtown Ottawa, their celebration took place at the Andaz hotel, right in the heart of the Byward Market. It’s a vibrant part of the city — full of character, people, and great energy — and the perfect backdrop for a wedding that felt both elegant and effortlessly fun.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear this was going to be something special. Flowers were everywhere: in the lace of Stephanie’s dress, in the favours, and in the bright, cheerful colours worn by her sisters and the kids. Bold yellows, pinks, and blues gave everything a classic springtime feel.

The weather showed up, too — gorgeous blue skies and that kind of warm breeze that makes everyone a little more relaxed. The atmosphere was casual and upbeat, with guests mingling comfortably and soaking in the views from the rooftop.
Walking into the reception space really did feel like stepping into a spring garden — fresh-cut blooms on every table, natural light pouring in, and a vibe that was full of joy.
