Alice and Rob’s Wedding at the Historical Asylum Chapel in London was packed with loads of style and personality. The reception meal after the ceremony was held at the same location and then guests were bussed to the family home where a tent was erected, turn tables were set up and cake was devoured. The chapel’s interior, with its stained glass windows, bathed in sunlight, created an ethereal atmosphere. The light filtered through, casting colorful patterns on the ancient stone walls.
As they stepped out, confetti rained down—a shower of joy and well wishes. The backdrop of the chapel’s architecture provided a stunning canvas for their first moments as a married couple.
The venue choice set the tone for their day. The Asylum Chapel, steeped in history, exuded character and charm. Built in 1826, this Grade II listed gem had witnessed London’s rich and troubled past. Despite its name, it wasn’t a psychiatric facility; rather, it was once a home for elderly, retired pub landlords—a sanctuary of sorts
